REI Co-op
REI doesn't carry a huge grill selection — but everything they stock is curated for outdoor performance. If it's at REI, it's been vetted for portability, durability, and real-world camping use. No flimsy backyard-only grills here. I've tested the best grills in REI's lineup for car camping, backpacking, and tailgating.

#9 PickBudget Camping GrillA compact, no-frills tabletop grill with a lid for real grilling at the campsite. Coleman reliability at a budget price.
REI members get 10% back on full-price purchases. If you're not already an REI member, the $30 lifetime membership pays for itself on a single grill purchase. Co-op members also get access to member-exclusive sales and garage sale events.
REI Garage Sales are grill gold. Returned and lightly used grills show up at steep discounts during REI's garage sale events (online and in-store). A $250 Weber Q with a small cosmetic scratch for $120? That's a win.
REI's return policy is generous but has limits. You get 1 year to return most items with a receipt. Used grills can be returned if defective. Don't abuse it — they track returns and will flag your account.
Car camping vs. backpacking matters for grill choice. REI stocks both categories. For car camping (weight doesn't matter), grab a Weber Q or Coleman RoadTrip. For backpacking (every ounce counts), the UCO Flatpack is the move.
Check REI's online inventory for your local store. Not every location stocks every grill. Use the website to check in-store availability or order online for free store pickup — avoids a wasted trip.
