On a smaller boat, the grill you actually use is the one you can stow without a fight. The Stow N Go wins on that axis and it is not close — it folds flat and weighs less than a full cooler lid.
The included regulator, hose and lid thermometer are worth calling out because Magma treats several of those as accessories. Out of the box you can cook.
The compromise is alloy. Kuuma uses 304 stainless in the body rather than 316. On fresh water that is a non-issue and the grill will last a decade. On salt water it means rinsing every trip and drying the grate, or you will see surface rust in the first year.
Cooking is straightforward: 9,000 BTUs, one zone, lid down for anything thicker than a burger. Two people eat well. Four people eat in shifts.
If your boat lives on a trailer or a freshwater lake, this is the smart buy. If it lives in a saltwater slip, spend the extra on 316 stainless.
