I deep clean my grills twice a year — spring opening and fall closing. Easy-Off is the only product that makes this painless.
Remove the grates, place them on newspaper or a trash bag. Spray generously. Wait 10-15 minutes. The baked-on carbon and grease literally dissolves. Wipe with paper towels, rinse with a hose, and you have grates that look nearly new.
It works on cast iron, stainless steel, porcelain-enameled, and chrome grates. I've used it on Weber, Traeger, Napoleon, and Blackstone surfaces without any damage.
CRITICAL: Only use on cold, unheated surfaces. Rinse thoroughly before cooking — you do NOT want chemical residue on food-contact surfaces. Wear gloves. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
The fume-free formula is worth the extra dollar if chemical smells bother you. Same cleaning power, less nose assault.
